Early career

Jaramillo’s professional music career began in the early 1950s when he started performing in local bars and nightclubs. He often performed at a venue called “La Lagarterra” for tips.  Julio joins the other musicians in “La Lagarterra”.  At the local radio station Radio El Triunfo where he met Odalina Sánchez.  He leaves Irene after falling in love with Odalina.  Odalina gave birth to their son Francisco on March 9, 1955.
